[ high nobility meets high nobility alike. there is nothing to indicate what roxana is feeling at the moment, hands in her lap and posture as perfect as ever, but the placidity could be another kind of indication. ]

I'm on a bit of a walk, really. Downstairs in Terminal 0. By the baggage claim.

roxana is standing outside the layover hotel, and there's a frown as she looks at the promotion. even if she's not very expressive, the aura is very much.... why can't she book a room for herself, by herself, with only herself? ]

[Joins her. She's subdued for sure, still trying to keep it low key unless curses force a renewed silliness out of her. This is before yoru bowl ig, timeline wise.]

This doesn't seem very fair, does it? Why do we have to do it in pairs?

It's the atmosphere of the hotel, perhaps.

It would be nice to have somewhere you know you would be alone for at least a few hours.

...I thought about asking you all the usual questions, but...I'm not sure you would like to answer them.

But you like to be mysterious. That, or, you're more interested in picking apart the things other people think than giving away your own thoughts. So in that way, I'm not sure if asking you outright if you did commit a murder is not very fun for you.

...Or it's completely insulting and you're just really, really good at hiding it.

[i can't believe Roxana wouldn't go to hotdog on a stick with her.

She has one now though. Sitting down somewhere in the terminal, thinking her soupbrain thoughts.

Then there's a sharp spike of alarm, her breath hitching.]

[ ok, well, wish roxana were caring enough for this, but she's not.

she keeps her distance, especially once the alarm is felt. ]

[okay to be fair nothing truly terrible happened because of the apples, so she wouldn't be opposed to having them again. Nonetheless she's happy to pluck a pair of these offand lightly toss one to Roxana.]

I'll take the first bite to check, if you need the extra insurance.

Much less so. Though the race was...different! But I'm glad it was a peaceful ending. I think he'll be much happier in Australia.
