[It's a good question. One she's not sure how answer. Not straight away.
Rosamund looks away a moment, thinking.]
Well. I know that sometimes people who seem very friendly and reasonable can be people that you have to be careful of. And that people who seem quite dangerous or off-putting are in fact meant to be the best friends you'll ever make.
No one is ever exactly what you think of them. And no one can know the whole truth of a person except that person themselves. I don't think that necessarily means everyone is a threat and you should never trust anyone no matter what. Just that it is something to consider and take account of.
I suppose the best way to put it is, expect to be surprised. Whether a it's a good surprise or a bad one is always up in the air.
While I don't disagree with what you've said, I should rephrase my question: do you want to trust people more than distrust them? Or the other way around?
[ it's less about how to view a person or how much you should know a person in order to trust them but more if rosamund thinks it's better to trust people or not. ]

...Ordinarily? I'd prefer to trust them.
Here, I have to be more cynical.

[ roxana can't say she's too surprised. ]
Are you ready to do this for another few weeks?
no subject
[yeah her vibes are deeply obvious what about it. Rosamund sighs.]
Sure. Why not. There's no getting out of it until it's over, so there's nothing left to do but push through.
What about yourself? Are you inclined to trust?
[something tells her no.]

[ roxana also doesn't hide certain things about herself. she makes herself aloof for a reason. ]
I don't trust easily, but that shouldn't be a surprise.

Well, I wasn't going to say it myself... [but yeah no kidding.] You must have had to keep your cards very close to the chest.

[ it's not so uncommon when you're nobility. ]
