she doesn't need him to like her or his respect, but if he wants people to leave his earrings alone, he should be less obvious. he broadcasts how much that's the only thing he treasures. of course it's an easy button to press. the math is simple.

if death were more permanent, she'd maybe fight this more, but she doesn't really want to be around him either. maybe he shouldn't have tried to hinder her while she was obviously cursed and crazy in love if he didn't want his earrings threatened.

[ With that, Seodore is tipped out of the hot air balloon basket. He doesn't bother grabbing for the edge either and just falls and falls. The view is actually pretty great, so he thinks he got the better deal out of this than Roxana, who's probably painfully burning right now.
