between the lack of proper illumination in the room and the fact that her back is facing the entrance, it's impossible to see what kind of expression is on her face. but her hand is pressed to the glass and there's an odd quality to her voice when she mumbles to herself—]
... I thought I'd hate it, but it's kind of pretty.
[glancing in her direction... it's pretty dark in here, but she's standing close enough to the glowing jellyfish that roxana can tell there's something different about her face. her eyes are green, instead of the usual red.]
It was a while ago, but... [she sighs, sounding a little annoyed.] I was trapped in an aquarium once, along with a couple of boys from my school. Felt like we were stuck there for days.
I was a little worried they were ruined for me forever...
[ hmm... more annoyed teenage girl and less cranky old lady. ]
Ah, yes, getting trapped would tarnish any experience or location. It's a sign of how lovely jellyfish are that they can be separated from whatever happened to you.
You'll have to see if the other sea creatures hold some kind of wonder for you still.
