Kashuu's immediately zipping over from the front door to the source of the sound, startling a little when he spots Roxana before rushing to her side.]

[He'll try to help her back up, or at least into a more comfortable position.]

[ She freezes when he touches her, tense. Her breathing is a little unsteady, and she takes even breathes. ]

... We have to focus on who's behind the murders. Who would kill Meteion?

[Oh, bad. Kashuu eases his hand back at that reaction, holding it up in a sort of "means no harm" gesture.]

[ She is still struggling to get back up even if she is doing so, slowly but surely. She's doing her best to look composed, but it's not like he didn't find her, collapsed and collecting bruises for tomorrow. ]

...Could be that he was attacked by someone refracted and fought back, or that he's one of the refracted. Could also be a gumball. There are some pretty powerful ones out there that can influence how things go at night.

[ It will take a long moment, but eventually, Roxana will shift and scoot over to be closer to Kashuu. ]

But I think, for simpler reasoning, it's either he was attacked or he attacked. It's not often the people who are found don't have something directly to do with what happened.
