Anyway they're all doing their best and they are struggling so hard phew. Kashuu's emotions seem to reflect hers, though. There's a twist of something anxious; he hesitates for a second, but considering what waiting got them all last time:]

[Kashuu is decent at masking his feelings when he wants to but he sure isn't as skilled at it as Roxana, so the vibes are clear on his end. Empathy, sorrow, anxiety. A tiny pinprick of hope that he might be wrong, but the grim feeling that he isn't.

After a beat, he'll reach out for Roxana's hands. His expression doesn't reflect the tumble of emotions; that's the one thing he has the most decent control over, for what little it's worth this week.]

...if she's more like Kazu and less like Malik, then we'll have a little extra time to work.

[Regardless of whether or not it's her, he hopes they have more time.]

[ She looks at his hands for a moment before she meets him half way. He can take them. There is something tired to her emotions. ]

We'll need that extra time.

[ They always do, but she won't allow herself to hope. ]
